Australasian College of Podiatric Surgeons
Registrar Program – 2020 Intake – closes 2 August 2019

The ACPS invites candidates to register for eligibility for the 2020 intake. Applications are open for a minimum of two training positions. Positions will be available in WA, SA, Vic and NSW. It is anticipated that training positions will commence in February 2020.

In order to apply for a training position, candidates must have met the minimum eligibility criteria for selection and submit an Application for Registration for a Training Position form.

To aid this process, candidates should read the  Process for Selection to the ACPS Training Program – Compendium for Candidates. This document outlines the selection process for candidates, including the minimum eligibility criteria, application and interview process and candidate ranking process.

Changes to the Eligibility Criteria – Master Degree

Completion of a Master degree is no longer a minimum requirement necessary to apply for a training position. However, to be eligible for selection into the training program, candidates must be currently enrolled or in the process of completing a Master degree.

Selection into the Training Program is governed by the principles of equal opportunity, and will be based solely on merit. The selection process is designed to identify the abilities, qualifications, experience and emotional intelligence of applicants that would enable them to perform all the required duties of a surgical registrar, achieve all the objectives of the Training Program and become a skilled and highly competent podiatric surgeon.
